Loan Funds

Starting a new business—or expanding an existing venture—should be an exciting opportunity to turn a dream into a reality. And thanks to The Jewish Agency for Israel's Loan Funds program, Israeli small-business owners are taking those leaps with rock-solid financial backing that paves the way to success.

For nearly two decades, The Jewish Agency’s Loan Funds program has been the leading grassroots economic development engine for entrepreneurs and small-business owners in various regions in Israel. Here’s just a quick look at our impact:
From the time we were founded in 2002 through the year 2017, the program has assisted 1,790 businesses.

We have helped create close to 9,000 jobs to date.

In 2017 alone, we approved 207 businesses for assistance, who received loans totaling nearly $12.1 million.

We also provide financial help to new immigrants to Israel, members of the Ethiopian-Israeli community, the ultra-Orthodox population, and the Arab-Israeli population.
